How to Draw Squirtle
Step 1: Draw a circle for the head and an attached half-round shape for the body.
Step 2: On the body part draw 2 wavy lines for the shells.
Step 3: Now, in this step draw 2 big eyes with a small round inside them to show it large.
Step 4: Below the eyes draw a broad open mouth with 2 curves enclosed with a flattened U shape. Mark nose and eyebrows with a small point-like line.
Step 5: Draw details of the belly, draw 2 cross line, and join them with a V shape from the outer line of the belly as shown in the image, it will form 4 pentagon like structure.
Step 6: Draw 2 arms on both sides of the body, to give it an angled view draw the right hand overlapping on the body.
Step 7: Below the body draw 2 cute little legs of the squirtle.
Step 8: Up to this point drawing is complete, now you can give a background to your drawing. Refer to the image given below to illustrate the background.

How to draw Squirtle step by step
Step 1: To start your Squirtle drawing firstly you need to draw 2 circles of different sizes. One full circle and another a semi-circle attached to the first one. Draw these lines with easy hands, so that you can erase them easily while making few changes to them in further steps.
Step 2: This is an anime character thus, draw a broad large square anime eye with a round pupil in it. Depict eyebrows with fine small lines to give it proper definition.
Step 3: Draw 2 small curvy lines inside the central part of the eyes, draw a curvy line to depict the cheek on the left side of the face. With help of a long curvy line draw mouth for your Squirtle, mark 2 lines for the nose, refer to the image given below.
Step 4: As our Squirtleis in a standing position draw its forehand outlining with 2 curves on both sides of the body. At the tip of the arm draw hands depicting 3 fingers of Squirtle.
Step 5: Then we will depict its hind limb with help of simple lines. below the legs draw toes with 3 finger-like projections.
Step 6: Squirtle is a form of a turtle, thus draw its shell in this step. Draw the back of the body little curvier and add lines to form a shell-like structure.
Step 7: After completion of shell draw the stomach, again with help of a closed line draw 4 boxes forming V shape with an outer body line.
Step 8: Trace your drawing and erase all extra and overlapping lines to get a clear image of your Squirtle. Color it with imagination or your observations from the cartoon serials.
