How to Draw a Giraffe
Step 1:Make a small circle in the left top of the page for giraffe’s head. Then 2 ovals at the right side of the head a bit lower than it. By joining these shapes with lines you will create neck and spine for your giraffe.
Step 2: Draw the snout and long which getting thick near to chest. Connect 2 ovals drawn for chest and pelvis, then draw torso. star drawing long legs keeping joint and hooves in mind.
Step 3: Draw body of giraffe by creating a guideline line. Draw other details too in this step like horns, eyes, and ears. After neckline draw long mane of Giraffe You can refer our drawing given below for any help.
Step 4: In this step erase all the guidelines drawn. Observe Giraffe below and start drawing details in your giraffe drawing. Up to this time, it is almost similar to giraffe only missing is distinctive details.
Step 5: At this step give your Giraffe a natural look by drawing spots on the whole body. Patience is needed a lot while drawing in this step. Spots will be large on the neck and very small on legs. No proper shape of spots should be there, but just keep them angular only.
Step 6: Shade the light and dark outline of the spot. To make more pleasing shadows, draw it with light lines and then darken it afterwards were needed.
How to draw Giraffe head :
Step 1: Make a large U shape in the middle bottom of the paper.
Step 2: Make nostrils on attached U shape, making a small m and 2 ovals inside.
Step 3: Make sides of the head using same lines.
Step 4: Taking lines inside begin making horns for the giraffe.
Step 5: Above the head makes 2 symmetrical horns.
Step 6: Make the eyes and big lashes above it.
Step 7: Both sides of the head draw 2 ears and from below the head neck for giraffe.
Step 8: Add patterns on the body to give it a look more resemble. Draw background gives it a realistic appearance.
