Sonic is a character in the video game Sonic The Hedgehog, released in 1991. Two years later in 1993the cartoon series depicting sonic was released with the name, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.
In later years it became the most famous and sold character with more than 70 million cartridge circulations. Hedgehogs are mammals with sharp quills that help them while running or falling. The folds their body and get into a spiky ball while running and rolling. Sonic is depicted as the heroic character who helps friends, overcomes impossible circumstances, and is very imaginative.
How to draw a sonic step by step:
Step 1: Start your drawing with 2 adjacent circles, a big for the head and a small for the body. Draw a curved line for the outline of facial features as depicted below.
Step 2: Draw 2 pair of parallel lines for the legs, also mark line for the hands.
Step 3: Draw shoe shape at the bottom of the legs, sonic has oversized shoes, you can refer to the image given below.
Step 4: Above the head draw a curvy line enclosed with another curvy line in a pointed manner. Also draw a curve with 2 long lines above it forming a finger, For rather hand draw a big curve and an oval nose.
Step 5: Draw other fingers using a curved line in both hands, draw a small circle in the stomach. Draw a bean shape attached to the nose.
Step 6: Draw 2 pointed triangular ears, and a flattened m shape inside the mouth. Draw 2 more steps of hair using those curvy pointed lines.
Step 7: Finish the eyes with a pupil in it, a dot on the nose, and a triangle in the ear. Also, draw a small line in the mouth for a smiley face and finish the shoes as shown below.
Step 8: Your drawing is ready, you can now contour it.
Step 9: Add more details, contour your drawing, and outline the outer lines.
How to draw a sonic for kids:
Step 1: Draw a banana with a dot on the top of it, draw a line inside it.
Step 2: Above it draw m shape with 2 big dots with pupils, this will depict the eyes with the eyebrows above it.
Step 3: Draw hairs using curved lines from the left eyes, add 2 ears on the hair, and one inside it.
Step 4: Draw right hand from below the mouth with a pointed index finger.
Step 5: Draw a circle adjacent to the mouth, draw a curved line from the hand to the circle below. Extend the hairs with 2 more steps.
Step 6: Draw the left arm with curved parallel lines, also draw the hand at the end.
Step 7: Draw 2 pair of parallel lines depicting the legs of your sonic.
Step 8: Draw shoes below to it as illustrated below.
Step 9: Draw another pair of shoes on the second leg.
Step 10: Add colors to your sonic, keep everything blue except that stomach, mouth, and shoes. Color shoes with red color.
