Mountains are beautiful natural structures that rise above the surface of the earth. Mountains often created in the form of ranges or groups of many mountains.
Let’s begin our easy mountain drawing step by step.
How to Draw Mountains
Step 1: We will draw a guideline for 2 peaks of the mountain, draw lightly so that you can delete it later.
Step 2: Then in this step will draw ridges of the mountain. Just from the pointed portion of pyramd draw zig-zag llines.
Step 3: For this step, draw ragged lines using lines drawn for guidance in step 1. Try to make a few gradual points all over the mountain
Step 4: In this step erase the outlines and the original mountain is in front of you.
Step 5: Draw little peaks by drawing Brandon zig-zag lines as shown in the image.
Step 6: With your imaginations draw little shades on the surface of mountain.
Step 7: Side which is facing low light darken it with shading. Add little shades near the peaks also.
Step by Step Mountain Landscape Drawing for Kids
Step 1: Start by drawing two overlapped in the middle and sloping downward curved lines.
Step 2: From one slope drawn in step one, draw a jagged rough line meeting the horizon line on the other. Make a peak in the middle of this line. Refer to the image below, not compulsory to be the same as mountains don’t have the perfect shape.
Step 3: Draw a few more jagged lines forming another mountain peak.
Step 4:
In the background draw several jagged lines. These lines drawn in last steps represent many other peaks rather than an individual mountain.
Step 5: Draw a few bruce trees, commonly found on mountains, for giving it some realistic touch.
Step 6: You can also draw snow as some mountains are snowy, draw random lines going downward for slopes. To form rock on the ground enclose random rocks.
Step 7: Fill color to your landscape with your choice. It can be grey smokey, purple majestic, or reddish brown.
