Mountains uplift from the earth’s surface and are extremely gorgeous. They always exist in a cluster or form of range. There are cities located on mountains but life is challenging there compared to lowlands. Rare mountains possess religious and spiritual significance as, people from millennia utilizing them for the same.
Mount Everest is one of the world’s highest mountains located in Nepal. Its appeal of mountain climbing and the most challenging to survive. Mountains are beautiful natural formations which rise above the earth’s surface. Mountains tend to be formed in the shape of ranges or groups of numerous mountains.
Let’s start our simple mountain drawing step by step.
How to Draw Mountains
Step 1: We will trace a guideline for 2 tops of the mountain, draw very light so you can erase it later.
Step 2: Then in this step will trace ridges of the mountain. From just pointed area of pyramid draw zig-zag lines.
Step 3: To this step draw ragged lines with lines traced for guideline in step 1. Make several gradual points all around the mountain
Step 4: In this step remove the outlines and the original mountain is in front of you.
Step 5: Create small peaks by drawing Brandon zig-zag lines like in the image.
Step 6: Using your imaginations create small shades on the surface of mountain.
Step 7: Side which is facing low light make it darker with shading. Add small shades near the peaks also.
Step by Step Mountain Landscape Drawing for Kids
Step 1: Begin by sketching two overlapped in the middle and sloping down curved lines.
Step 2: From one slope made in step one, draw a jagged rough line intersecting the horizon line on the other. Create a peak in the center of this line. See the picture below, not necessarily to be identical as mountains are not of a perfect shape.
Step 3: Sketch some more jagged lines creating another peak of the mountain.
Step 4: In the background draw some jagged lines. These last steps’ lines depict numerous other peaks instead of one single mountain.
Step 5: Draw a couple of bruce trees, often seen on mountains, for adding some realistic feel.
Step 6: You can also draw snow as some mountains are snowy, draw random lines that go downwards for slopes. To create rock on the ground enclose random rocks.
Step 7: Color to your scenery with your preference. It may be grey smokey, purple majestic, or reddish brown.
