How to Draw a Cardinal
Step 1: Draw an angled half-circle as given in the below illustration.
Step 2: Draw the tail of the bird using 2 lines enclosed with zig-zag lines.
Step 3: Draw a wing on the middle of the drawn semi-circle. For this draw an elongated shape with crooked lines.
Step 4: On the right top corner draw a curve first then draw a small dot-like circle inside it and a triangular beak.
Step 5: For more details draw 3 lines in the tail and 2 legs with 2 fingers as shown in the image.
Step 6: Draw a branch below the bird which is further bifurcated into 2.
Step 7: Draw another branch with 3 bifurcations.
Step 8: Draw borderline for green area and land as depicted in the image below.
Step 9: Trace the drawing with a marker and color your cardinal with red, tree branches with brown, sky with sky blue, and green for grass.
Draw cartoon Cardinal or Angry bird
Few cartoon series depicted cardinal bird as angry birds, they knows for the teamwork so are the cardinals. Teamwork is one of the reasons for use by sports clubs. Below are the simple steps on how to draw an angry bird.
Step 1: Draw a big circle with a long mark little right to the diameter.
Step 2: Above the circle draw another semi-circle and a mark from the centerline to form beak.
Step 3: On the top of the image draw 2 elongated shapes as in the image below and form a beak by joining another line to it. Draw 2 angled lines from the center mark as an outline for the eyes.
Step 4: Draw 2 another angeled line and form rectangular eyes. From the end of the beak draw a curve.
Step 5: Draw 3 tails on the back of the cardinal, 2 eyes below the eyebrows, and 2 lines below it.
Step 6: Draw large circles around the eyes and a curved line going through the beak.
Step 7: Darken the outlines with a marker or dark pencil and fill the eyebrows with black color.
Step 8: Erase the extra lines and guidelines, specially drawn for the centerline.
Step 9: You can color it red or leave it with an outline. The choice is yours, refer to the image given below.
