How to draw a Mermaid Pencil Drawing
Step 1: We are drawing a horizontal mermaid. Draw an oval that will be head for your mermaid and 2 arcs for the body. In the head with the help of a line mark center for the head at the same time draw lines for shoulders, waist, and hips.
Step 2: With the help of curvy lines outline the hair part. On the right side of the face mark the chin and cheeks line. With the help of 2 curvy lines draw the tail for the mermaid.
Step 3: Draw 2 circles for the chest of the mermaid and then at the end draw guideline flippers, hands and arms.
Step 4: Attach hip and hand to form the waistline and also draw hairs on the top of the head.
Step 5: Draw the general hair locks by drawing few curves, also define arms.
Step 6: Give neck, hand an outline, and shape up the fins structure.
Step 7: Give your mermaid’s long hair a flowy look and shape-up palm by adding figures. Join fins edges and beginning of the tail.
Step 8: In this step, your mermaid is on completion. Define facial features as eyes, eyebrows, mouth, and nose. Decorate it with earrings and dress. Draw small curvy shapes on the tail for the scale.
Step 9: Add stone at the ground and stars to look your mermaid glittery. Erase all extra lines to get a clear picture.
Step 10: Your mermaid is ready to float.
How to draw Mermaid:
Step 1: Draw the facial structure using half curve and cover it with 2 opposite flattened V shape, follow the image given below.
Step 2: Draw 2 eyes glittery and shiny.
Step 3: Above the head draw hair parting from the middle and a crown.
Step 4: From the chin part draw 2 opposite lines for shoulder, and sides for the body.
Step 5: Below the waist draw 2 wings type of shape.
Step 6: From the fins drawn, draw the tail shape.
Step 7: At the tip of the tail, draw fins as fish.
Step 8: Draw hands for the Mermaid, one in the air and another toward the bottom.
Step 9: Extend the hairs from the back, draw long hairs for your mermaid.
Step 10: On the tail, draw zig-zag wavy lines in place of scales also finish it with few sprinkling spots.
